Evergreen is a safe place where youth living on the streets of downtown Toronto can rest, eat, obtain health care, receive parental relief and get help with finding a job or a place to stay. Here, street youth can find a place to belong, someone to talk to, and people that genuinely care. Funds raised from this event will be added to the Scholarship Fund, which annually helps several deserving youth get back into school and off the streets.

Riding Tips

I found these on a web site and thought they might be beneficial for those of you that are starting out..and for some of us that have been riding for some time now!
----------------------------------------------------------
1- Safety First! Ride in full gear ALL THE TIME!
It's hard and heavy and uncomfortable. But it's your choice.

2- Don't feel bad when you make a mistake. It happens to every single person more than once, and more than they like to admit! (This is where not having an expensive bike to learn on comes in handy) for each silly mistake you make you learn something and you WILL NOT make the same mistake twice!

TO Star article: Bike Clubs Bond Rides

Apr. 12, 2003. 01:00 AM

Bike clubs bond riders
There's a group for every motorcyclist Different strokes for different folks

When it comes to clubs and organizations, my thoughts echo the philosopher Groucho Marx who said, "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members."
