Americade 2010 Pt VI Final Chapter - Video

Lynn and I spent an afternoon in beautiful downtown Saratoga Springs - a half hour drive from Lake George - with Tony and Jodi.

Saratoga Springs is famous for the Saratoga Race Course and the area's abundance of natural springs.

Had lunch at the Grey Gelding Pub and then, like typical tourists, we browsed through some unique stores.

One store had quite an assortment of hats.

Turned out to be a sunny day for us. Back at camp, we heard a rain storm had blown through.

Tony & Jodi's campsite had expired, so we moved his tent to Fred & Kim's site.

Next day we took a fabulous ride to Middlebury Vermont for ice cream at Sama's Cafe . Next year, lunch is in order at Sama's. It's a great little place.

For our return trip, we crossed Lake Champlain to Crown Point NY via a ferry service subsidized by the NY DOT.  A few years back we would have crossed over via the Champlain Bridge.  The original structurally unsound bridge was demolished in December of 2009.

What a FANTASTIC day for a motorcycle ride.

YeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa!

"Let the good times roll!"
